With 11 Doctors of varying nationalities and specialties at our practice in Beachlands, we are confident you will find a doctor suited to you and your family’s needs. Four of our Doctor’s are Fellows of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, so you can be assured of high quality and professional care. Most of our Doctors live locally.
Special interests and skills within the medical team include family medicine, women health, family planning, child health or paediatrics, minor surgery, senior health, preventative or lifestyle health, men’s medicine, rehabilitation, diabetes care, long term condition care and cardio-vascular medicine.

Our Medical Centre was originally started by Dr Barry Claridge, with Dr Michael Clarke, Barry’s nephew, joining in 1989, it was located at the end of the shops on Wakelin Road . Barry has since retired and Michael is in charge, the Medical Centre is now located in new purpose built premises on Beachlands Road at the front of the new shopping centre with other allied health . The team consists of more than 20 including Doctors, Nurses and support staff with the objective of ensuring the quality care of our patients.
